In this half-day course, participants have the opportunity to reflect on the implementation of Restorative Practices. Participants will review the philosophy of restorative practices and the paradigm shifts that we need to make in order to effectively and consistently implement restorative practices. Participants will share their successes with restorative practices in their workplaces, and strategize with facilitators and with one another on different ways to address challenges with restorative practices implementation. Formal training in Restorative Practices is a prerequisite for participation in this course.

We define Restorative Practice as the process by which an individual acknowledges wrongdoing, takes steps to repair harm, and is welcomed back into the community. This, in effect, fosters a culture that elevates dialogue and values relationships.
For over 30 years, The Conflict Center has been providing programs to Denver and throughout Colorado. Through our youth and adult classes and conflict management workshops, we empower individuals to see and use conflict as an opportunity to grow, learn, and create positive change in their lives. At The Conflict Center, we believe that all of us are capable of and responsible for building healthy relationships in our homes, schools, congregations, workplaces, and communities.
This class occurs virtually on the following Tuesdays from 5:30pm – 7:30pm (MT): January 7, January 14, January 21, January 28, February 4, February 11. The skills we teach help you cool down, manage stress, and learn how conflict can be a force for positive change.
This class occurs virtually on the following Mondays from 6:00pm – 8:00pm (MT): November 4, November 11, November 18, November 25, December 2, December 9. The skills we teach help you cool down, manage stress, and learn how conflict can be a force for positive change.
This class occurs at The Conflict Center on the following Saturdays from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm: October 19 and October 26. The skills we teach help you cool down, manage stress, and learn how conflict can be a force for positive change.
Simply put — we teach people to solve problems and build relationships. We want families, schools and communities to put themselves at the center of nonviolence. Our programs equip people with skills to navigate conflict productively.
