Do you or a teen in your life struggle with anger? Anger is inevitable but we can learn alternatives to reacting harmfully in stressful situations. This conflict transformation course for youth teaches making healthy decisions, identifying emotions – especially anger – and managing them in healthy and effective ways.
Teens are dealing with stress and conflict in the classroom, with their friends and in their homes at unprecedented levels. COVID-19, remote learning and isolation has impacted teens ability to manage anger and resolve conflicts productively.
At The Conflict Center, our anger management course teaches teens how to cool down, manage stress, and learn how conflict can be a force for positive change. We teach teens to work through defensiveness and build a shared understanding with people in multiple areas of their life. In the end, you and the young person in your life can find mutually beneficial solutions to sources of conflict.
This accelerated anger management for teens utilizes interactive activities so youth ages 11-17 and families can learn and apply new skills in their lives. Classes are conducted in a group format, which allows students to learn from one another’s diverse experiences. Each person who completes our class gains skills to approach conflict as an opportunity for growth and problem solving.

We don’t want finances to be a barrier for taking our courses. A 50% discount is automatically applied for anyone who receives some form of government or social assistance (marked during registration).
You can either pay in full or choose the payment plan option that will break the full cost into two half payments – half paid at checkout and half paid two weeks later.

For over 30 years, The Conflict Center has been providing programs to Denver and throughout Colorado. Through our youth and adult classes and conflict management workshops, we empower individuals to see and use conflict as an opportunity to grow, learn, and create positive change in their lives. At The Conflict Center, we believe that all of us are capable of and responsible for building healthy relationships in our homes, schools, congregations, workplaces, and communities.
This class occurs virtually on the following Tuesdays from 5:30pm – 7:30pm (MT): January 7, January 14, January 21, January 28, February 4, February 11. The skills we teach help you cool down, manage stress, and learn how conflict can be a force for positive change.
This class occurs virtually on the following Mondays from 6:00pm – 8:00pm (MT): November 4, November 11, November 18, November 25, December 2, December 9. The skills we teach help you cool down, manage stress, and learn how conflict can be a force for positive change.
This class occurs at The Conflict Center on the following Saturdays from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm: October 19 and October 26. The skills we teach help you cool down, manage stress, and learn how conflict can be a force for positive change.
Simply put — we teach people to solve problems and build relationships. We want families, schools and communities to put themselves at the center of nonviolence. Our programs equip people with skills to navigate conflict productively.
