Circle Practice is based on the indigenous practice of peace circles. By practicing uninterrupted listening and sharing, the community builds congruence in purpose and power with each other. The practice of this social technology can be applied inclusively and equitably with a diverse range of group dynamics. Circles exercised amidst conflict can disrupt and disseminate unhealthy cultural norms, working to flatten power dynamics and increase group coherence. Circles reinforce a strength-based approach to building community efficacy.
This training takes place on BOTH March 22 and 23 from 5pm – 7pm.
