Addressing Conflict & Anger Effectively (Virtual)

Addressing Conflict & Anger Effectively
Do you or someone you know struggle with conflict and have trouble controlling their emotions? Anger is inevitable but we can learn alternatives to reacting harmfully in stressful situations.
We are all dealing with stress and conflict in our lives, whether at home, in relationships or in the workplace. COVID-19, remote working and isolation has impacted our ability to manage anger and resolve conflicts productively.
At The Conflict Center, our conflict management course teaches you how to cool down, manage stress, and learn how conflict can actually be a force for positive change. We help you work through defensiveness and build a shared understanding with people in all facets of your life. In the end, you can find mutually beneficial solutions to sources of conflict.
This once-a-week conflict management course for adults gives you the space to reflect on the skills you’ve learned. Begin practicing your new skills in daily interactions and bring back your experience to consult with our highly trained instructors. We keep our classes small with 8-12 participants in each class. You will learn as much from your instructor as you do from your peers.
Your abilities will be transformed as you:
- Find ways to cool down when angry
- Identify your feelings and needs when you’re angry
- Discover realistic alternatives to arguing and fighting
- Recognize personal anger triggers
- Identify your conflict styles
- Explore ways to problem solve using the 6-step method
- Effectively negotiate with others to get needs met
Register today and start managing your anger.
