The Restorative Practices Educators’ Institute is a 3-day course designed for teachers, administrators, and wrap-around staff to learn and practice the foundations of restorative practices in a school setting. Days 1 and 2 of the Institute are dedicated to learning the foundational philosophy and day-to-day classroom implementation of restorative practices. Day 3 is designed to discuss and practice facilitating formal harm repair circles, used to address high-level and repeated harms.

After attending the Restorative Practices Educators Institute, teachers, administrators, and wrap-around staff will have a strong foundational understanding of restorative practices and create action steps to begin or strengthen the implementation of restorative practices in their schools.

Simply put — we teach people to solve problems and build relationships. We want families, schools and communities to put themselves at the center of nonviolence. Our programs equip people with skills to navigate conflict productively.
