Restoring Peace (Virtual)

This class occurs virtually on Saturday, January 17th, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. ‘Restoring Peace’ utilizes the power of empathy to strengthen relationships, while at the same time teaching parents to hold their children accountable for their actions. After this class, parents will have a solid understanding of the basics of Restorative Practices and how and why to incorporate them into their parenting. At The Conflict Center, we help build a community of support, where parenting challenges are normalized and parents can provide each other with confidence and shared learning experiences.
Applying Restorative Practices to Special Education

This class occurs virtually on Friday October 31 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. “Applying Restorative Practices in Special Education” is an opportunity for educators to reflect on the ways they implement proactive and reactive elements of restorative practices. Participants will walk away with applicable strategies to ensure that all students are able to engage authentically.
Teen Anger Management in Denver (In-Person)

Your class will be held in person over two Saturdays from 9:00am – 4:00pm on January 24 and 31. In this accelerated social-emotional course for youth, participants will learn how to make healthy decisions, and identify emotions – especially anger – while learning to manage them in healthy, effective ways.

Restorative Practices Summer Educators’ Institute (In-Person)

The Restorative Practices Summer Educators’ Institute occurs in-person from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Monday, June 9, Tuesday, June 10, and Wednesday, June 11. The Restorative Practices Educators’ Institute is a 3-day course designed for teachers, administrators, and staff to learn and practice the foundations of restorative practices in a school setting.

In this accelerated social-emotional course for youth, participants will learn how to make healthy decisions, and identify emotions – especially anger – while learning to manage them in healthy, effective ways.
